Personal Data Policy concerning Nordic Properties

In Nordic Properties we have a clear ambition that our communication channels for both business and private persons must be as relevant and agile to use for both parties as possible.

We collect and store data regarding participating companies, business partners, event participants and digital visitors. All data are included in statistic calculations as well as in relevant service information about the programs.

When visiting our websites and social media channels, your visit and personal data will be registered.

If you are a participating company or a partner of the program, who are not affiliated with a company, it might be your personal data we register. In case your company information (if you are a smaller company) is equal to your personal data, then it may also be personal information we collect about your business. Both are, of course, in full compliance with the legislation in force at the time in question, including GDPR.

We have clear guidelines for, how we collect, use, distribute, transfer and save your personal data, in order to protect your identity and uphold your privacy in all matters.

Therefore, we would like to ask you to read our personal data policy thoroughly. We are committed to ensure, that all customers and partners, experience the highest level of transparency and feel comfortable in the registration of their personal data. Nordic Properties is the data controller for storing and processing the personal data we collect about you.

We only register and store personal data, which is necessary for us to operate our business and to fulfill the contract we concluded with you. Furthermore, we store information about the companies we are screening for admission to the program.

Personal data included in the registration of your business.

Personal data you had to provide in relation to participation in an event.

Statistics based on visits to respectively social media channels and websites.

The specific permission you have given, such as a marketing permission.

Furthermore we register information about cookies, when you visit our websites.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

The purpose of collecting your personal data is primarily to support our collaboration during the program and to provide the best service. Also, we collect your contact information in order to communicate with you, which includes sending service announcements concerning your participation or changes to our Terms, Conditions and Policies. Since service announcements are important for your collaboration with us, it is not possible to deselect this type of messages.

In addition to the general collaboration, we process personal data for the following:

Service information when participating in the programs.

For further development and improvement of our digital services, we keep statistics on how our customers reach and use our websites and other digital services. The statistics are only used in anonymized and summarized form, to obtain insights into which sites, actions and web browsers our users use.

For event invitations as well as photo and video materials from events, for marketing purposes.

For analysis, testing and continuous improvement and further development of our products, services, content and advertising.

We only process your personal data to the extent necessary to meet the purposes for which the information is collected.

The processing is based on the following legal basis:

• Your permission in cases where you actively choose that your personal data is processed for a specific purpose, cf. Article 6(1), litra a of GDPR.

• To fulfill an agreement with you, cf. Article 6(1) litra b of GDPR.

• To comply with a legal obligation we are required, cf. Article 6(1) litra c of GDPR.

• To pursue a legitimate interest if such an interest is considered not to exceed your interest, cf. Article 6 (1) litra f of GDPR. Such an interest is e.g. to be able to communicate with you in connection with our collaborative relationship or regarding changes of our Terms, Conditions and Policies.

Storage of personal information

We store your personal data as long as it is necessary in order to provide a good service to you as a customer, and to you as a user of our websites and additional digital services.

We take good care of your information and store them as following:

• We may store personal data from your business data for up to 5 years after the end of the program.

• Data from contact forms and from marketing permission, we will store until you actively request to be deleted or you delete your permission yourself.

Distribution and transfer of personal information

In connection with your collaboration with us, there may be a need for a third party to process your personal information. This can be public business partners, consortium partners and event coordinators.

In addition, we only pass on personal data to third parties, including public authorities, if you explicitly have consented to this or if we have a statutory obligation.

Regarding the distribution of personal data to third parties, we use data processing personnel, who process personal data on our behalf and for our purposes. We have entered the necessary data processing agreements and we continuously make sure that the processing meets the legal requirements.

Gathering data from others than the registered

In specific cases cf. Article 18 of GDPR you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you are entitled to have limited processing, we then only process the data – expect for storage – with the purpose of determining, enforcing or defending legal claims or for protecting a person or protecting important social interests.

You are entitled to object to our processing of your personal data if the processing is conducted to pursue a legitimate interest, i.e. In accordance with the regulations of Article 6(1) litra e or litra f of the GDPR.
